My older sister laughs every time I say I like something with ginger in it because apparently there was I time I made a huge deal about not liking ginger and she’s never going to let me forget it. Taste buds evolve, okay! Which brings me to my love of Rachel’s Ginger Beer. If you like ginger beer, one sip of this fresh citrusy beverage with a gingery bite will leave you longing for more. A beloved beverage of Seattle residents, where it originated, there are several locations including their flagship store at Pike Place Market. And luckily, for us non-Seattle residents they also ship!
If you’re visiting Seattle, I highly suggest you stop at one of their locations because it’s especially delicious the way they serve it over crushed ice right out of the tap. They also serve mules, hot toddies, and ice cream floats at some locations. Our last visit was to their 12th street location, which is paired with the restaurant Ma’ono. I’m not typically a big fan of fried chicken but holy crap this was good!
